This article is intended for existing Service Direct clients who have Marketplace Campaigns and have now enrolled in our Select Program. If you are a brand new Service Direct Select client and have questions about signing up, please see: The Account Activation Process for Select Signup

 

In this article we will guide you through the Select Program Enrollment process. Additionally, we have linked a detailed Overview PDF that explains the differences and benefits of the Select Program.

1. Select Program Enrollment – Kick Off

To start with, a Service Direct Sales Representative will work with you to review what our Service Direct Select Program can offer.

Once you are ready to move forward, we will collect information to kick off the enrollment, typically done over the phone.

2. Select Program Enrollment – Info for Search Campaigns

We will then send you an email asking you to log into https://mysd.servicedirect.com and provide some additional Company Profile information that will help tailor the Search Campaigns we build. 

Note: If you have lost or deleted the email message, there is also an in-app message that links to the same Select Program enrollment form. Just log into your mySD account to find the link. 

We'll ask you to provide important information about your Company, Service Area, service offerings, and value propositions to help us optimize your advertising. Keep in mind, the more information you provide, the higher the likelihood a visitor will convert on your site, leading to new business for your Company.

Our research shows that the following additional information can increase conversion on your Select Campaigns by up to 60%:

  • Licenses and Certifications
  • Awards and Recognition
  • Promotions and Special Financing Options
  • Warranties and Guarantees
  • Photos of Completed Work (especially in remodeling Service Categories such as Flooring and Bath remodeling)

3. Select Program Enrollment – Complete Service Area Map

While we will utilize the Service Areas already chosen for your existing Marketplace Campaigns, you may opt to refine these Service Areas for your Select Campaigns. However, if you have picked new Service Categories for your Select Campaigns, we ask that you complete the Service Area Map for them.

Choosing your Service Areas and geographic targets is a very important step to enable us to build you the optimal Campaigns and most effective Ads that bring you the highest quality Leads.

We have created a Service Area Map tool that allows you to pick a Starting Zip/Postal Code and Service Area Mile Radius to select the Zip/Postal Codes you want to target. You can specify different Service Areas for each Service Category, and if you serve multiple Locations you can specify multiple Service Areas within a single Service Category.

Add your Service Area using the Service Area Map tool:

  1. Enter a Starting Zip/Postal Code
  2. Choose a Service Area Radius
  3. Click "Find Zip/Postal Codes"
  4. Evaluate the results in the Map
  5. Click to Add or Remove individual Zip/Postal Code areas
  6. Click "Save Service Area"

Add your Service Area using manual Zip/Postal Code list:

  1. Alternately, if you already have a list of Zip/Postal Codes for your Service Area, scroll down past the Map tool and click "Add Zip/Postal Codes Manually" and paste in your list.
  2. Your list should be separated by spaces, commas, or new line breaks.
  3. Click "Add Target Zip/Postal Codes."
  4. Make sure you also click "Save Service Area."

4. Select Program Enrollment – Building your Search Campaigns

Your Campaigns are considered "In Production" after we have received your Company Profile and confirmed your Service Area. Our Market Research Team will then reference the provided Service Area to narrow down the best locations to use as an anchor for your Custom Search Campaigns while our Content Team uses the information provided in your Company Profile to infuse your brand into your highly optimized Microsites we build to generate Lead traffic.

By default, your Estimated Completion Date will be displayed as 1-2 Weeks. Once we know how many Campaigns are required for your Service Area and Service Categories, we will update the Estimated Completion Date with a more exact date.

Note: You can get back to the Enrollment Confirmation page by the in-app message at the top of any of the mySD pages.

5. Select Program Enrollment – Campaigns are Ready!

When our Team has completed your Custom Search Campaigns with Microsites, you will receive an email updating you on their progress, along with a link to your mySD Account. We will then launch your Service Direct Select Campaigns to various Ad Networks (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.), typically a few business days after the Microsite's completion.

In the event something on the Microsite needs to be changed, you can submit a Content Edit Request from the Campaign Manager page and our Content Team will contact you as soon as possible.

6. Select Program Enrollment – Campaigns are Live!

Within approximately 1 business day, you will receive an email, and see mySD in-app messaging, indicating your Campaigns are Live and starting to generate exclusive Leads.
